Heartwood Forest Summer Festival

The Heartwood Forest Summer Festival is back for 2017! A family favourite, the Summer Festival celebrates Heartwood Forest, the local community and dedicated volunteers.
Activities to join in with include the teddy bears’ picnic, fun dog show, woodland yoga and natural arts & crafts. Visit the Wildlife Zone and have a peek behind the scenes at Heartwood Forest, finding out which animals and plants call Heartwood their home. Watch something amazing being created with demonstrations of chainsaw carving and willow weaving. And plenty more!
When: Saturday 8 July 2017 11am-4pm
Where: Heartwood Forest, Sandridge, St Albans, AL4 9DQ
Booking & Prices : £1 per person, free for under 5s. Payment on the day will be cash only, or you can book and pay in advance on the website by Mastercard or debit card.
Parking: Available in the main Heartwood Forest car park, signposted from the B651/Sandridge High Street
Dogs: Allowed. Please keep them on a lead in the area of the event.
Extra things to know: Don’t forget to bring along your best dressed teddy for the Teddy Bear’s Picnic! Refreshments will be available to buy during the event. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. There will be portaloos on available on site for public use.
