Our Talks Programme is held in the Tudor Room, at Apsley Mills Cottage, Stationers Place, Apsley, HP3 9RL, just opposite Apsley Station. There is a single flight of stairs to the lecture room. If you have a mobility issue, please get in touch and we can help. The development of Animated Cartoons is delivered by Richard Westwood, a long serving volunteer for the Apsley Paper Trail, as a tour guide, printer and archive researcher. Richard also has a fascination for animated cartoons, which is the subject of this talk. Learn about the likes of Winsor McCay, early experiments in animation and the paper connection. The ticket price includes a freshly delivered fish and chip supper, plus a cup of tea or coffee. Booking is essential as spaces are limited and full details can be found on our website.
