Roller Derby Double Header Ever wanted to get involved in an exciting and inclusive sport? Have lots of energy and don’t know what to do with it?! Roller Derby could be for you! To see what Roller Derby is all about, come along and support us at our home game on Saturday 1st June at Hemel Hempstead Leisure Centre (Everyone Active). Doors open at 1.30 pm and the action kicks off shortly after with 4 teams facing each other in the next two games of the Five Nations Tier 4 East Championship. The double header will see our local heroes Herts Roller Derby take on Bath Roller Derby in the second game, with Bristol Bees up against Surrey Roller Derby in the opener, in what should be two fiercely contested, adrenalin-fuelled games. The teams will battle it out on track as part of the Five Nations Roller Derby Tournament, Europe’s largest interleague flat track roller derby tournament, which sees teams from all over the UK play each other throughout the year. There will be a raffle, cake and merch stalls, music and full commentary throughout the day. Ticket prices are £10 in advance, £12 on the door, under 16s go free.
