St Albans Cathedral

Set in the heart of Hertfordshire, St Albans Cathedral is renowned for its spooky tales. One of the most chilling occurred in 1944, when teenage firewatcher Basil encountered two hooded figures, a glowing organ, and a procession of chanting monks. When his colleague arrived, the scene had vanished, leaving only wisps of smoke. To this day, the cathedral remains a hotspot for eerie sightings, making it a perfect Halloween destination for those seeking a touch of the supernatural.
